Babler Caught a hog today!

Bill isn't doing my "stretch your arms to the camera" move, so the size of that fish didn't look that big at first, then I noticed the size of her jaw and HOLY CRAP that's a big bass!

I'm glad to see Mr. Bill getting to catch for a change (normally he's putting others on the fish), so that's the best part!!

That's a freaking giant from a pond that gets a ton of fishing pressure. Kudos.

If you don't think this is 9+ look at the pic where Bill is sitting down by the live well with that big Merc in the back. That's a big momma folks with a huge jaw. My question is how much of a fight did she put up?

Aside from being a great catch with great pics, another great thing is that this is about the 5th instance just this year that I have heard of a 9ish or better fish caught. I don't believe I have ever heard of this many giants being caught within the last 10+ years whether that word of mouth, local news articles, social media or posts here on the OA forums. Hopefully the LMV that killed the population of quality fish in the late 90s and early 2000's is all but forgotten and new crop of bigguns' are swimming around in our healthy pond. It certainly appears that way.
