As far as the meet goes, Costco is supposed to have very good meat… But who really knows?

My mom  was in her mid 80’s at the time.  Near the back of the store, my mother slipped on a piece of vegetable that somebody dropped and broke her hip. When she tried to stand up, She was wincing in pain. The ambulance took her to the hospital and they immediately repaired her broken hip and she was walking the very next day. The really strange thing was the behavior of the Costco employees and managers. They went into full political and protection mode instantly. I’m sure they thought we were going to sue them but we never did obviously. But it was very strange the way they acted,No communication whatsoever never a follow up phone call, nothing.

                      That just isn't right. Glad it came she came out of it Ok.

              Yes we never know just what is happening in the food processing chain. Just be sure and ask blessing over it as I know you do. 

  We were frying some wild turkey breast this past Sunday. Pat was testing a piece after pulling it from the fryer. Cut it and it had a blush in the center. She said should I toss it back into the fryer for a bit?  I said back to her this isn't a store chicken and you do know how anal I am when I clean game. She giggled and popped it in her mouth  .

                    I did think you were more rural but how close are your neighbors and do you shop at Cosco? .  I know you have good neighbors too!

Ok I’ll answer but you’ve heard of brick chicken haven’t you?   That was brick rump roast😁.  
18’ on each side and 160 or so behind  I love Costco and the local farm.  I’ve been a suburbanite since the moment I was born.  Bushes help.

My wife grew up in eastern Illinois 12 miles out of a town of a few thousand people or so.   Now I can’t get her to move to bull shoals. 😂

               I have the opposite problem. Pat would live in a cave. Actually every once and awhile when things are going sour in the world she says " Isn't that cave looking pretty good right now? "  I say it isn't even feasible then she says you always have to burst my bubble don't you! Pretty low maintenance here. Heck I cooked dinner and had it ready when she got home from work. You would of thought I preformed a miracle.  I have it figured out. She thinks she is training me. I just do enough to give her hope. Don't do too much or they will expect it! 

   Actually we made it 43 years together last Friday. She says she isn't going to train another and I for sure am not  !
