Was wandering if anyone watched the 4 day tournament and or seen the results, It was quite a show by KVD, and all the other top finalist also. You have to give KVD credit, when he is on them he can flat out catch some fish. Congrats to him!

Impressive win and impressive fishery. After day 1 I have to say I was hoping Clunn would hang in the top. Curious to see how many over 8 were weighed in the event.

Good for KVD. Was wondering if he was going to pull a Tiger Woods and kind of dwindle down into relative obscurity and become a name only with declining skills/success. Hopefully KVD doesn't get a 9 iron through his rear windshield though.

I watched some of the live coverage yesterday.  KVD was throwing a 6XD while I was watching and I believe he did a bit of bottom dragging also.  Anyway, I did not see him catch a fish, but he was working hard, cast that crank out there, work it back, cast again.  Meanwhile it was rough where he was fishing, water coming on the front deck, front end bouncing up and down.  It did not look like too much fun to me.

The report I saw said he threw the 10xd almost exclusively on Sunday.  I couldn't imagine chucking that lure around for 8 hours straight - I've still never caught a fish on the thing.

yep Sexy Shad 10xd. Hes a cranking king, so that was his sweet spot. Glad he pulled one out after his last few tourneys.

Thought it was a 1-iron which seemed way more serious than simple assault with a 9-iron.  :)

He's a machine.  As much as I like rooting for my favorites, It's hard not to get on the bandwagon when he's on a roll.  All his actions seem precise, efficient and fast.  Very intense.  It's obvious he hasn't lost any of his fire.  You can see that in the MLF events.  Looking forward to watching it later.
