Bass Enforcer Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Hey guys and gals. Just curious if anyone has heard if they found the person leaving from Indian point around memorial weekend who drowned? I do apologize if this has already been answered. I may have missed it. Thank you.
Ellros Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Nothing. Water Patrol continued to do sonar searches in the evenings occasionally for about a week or two after (I could see them from our cove), but no word has been said in any of the media.
Nitroman Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 KY3 TV did release his name, age & hometown, but they also reported that his body was never recovered. If you check their WEB-SITE you can probably find the story. Just remembered, went back & looked @ MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY WATER PATROL INCIDENT REPORTS, show his name as David Rambadt, age 44, from Batesville ARK. Champ188 Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Sad deal. And a reminder of just how quickly something like that can happen. huntest, dtrs5kprs and abkeenan 3
Members Grubber Posted June 27, 2016 Members Posted June 27, 2016 Heard on the news last night, there has been 11 area drownings already this year and the summer is just getting started........it is sad Champ188 1 Mike Colvin
Bill Babler Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Not saying he did or he didn't, but till they find a body, your not dead. I was only on the WP for 8 years, but in that time of about 2 dozen bodies we could not find about 1/2 of them mysteriously reappeared in another life. Truck, boat and all at the ramp, missing and presumed drowned. But? If someone seen him fall in the drink and not come out that is a different deal. My heart goes out to the family, but I guess it is the old law enforcement officer in me. I'm the very suspicious type. big c, Daryk Campbell Sr, magicwormman and 1 other 4 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Old plug Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I always thought that would be a good evasive move. Bill
m&m Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Bill, I too being retired from law enforcement thought that it remains a possibility even though I hope that it is not. I also am concerned that if he drowned, his body is found by someone who can emotionally handle the discovery. It won't be a pretty sight. Mike Daryk Campbell Sr 1

I thought in the other thread about this it was mentioned that a marina operator saw him thrashing around in the water but couldn't get to him in time. If that is true then I seriously doubt the poor guy is still alive. big c and dtrs5kprs 2
