Those Heddon Bud can baits are big in Japan. They tweak them a bit to make it wake. Megabass actually makes one.

My old college room mate used to call them venereal sausages, after he decided they were made from the lungs of unborn calves.  Needless to say he was not a danger to my supply.  As a side note cold viennies are better than warm ones.

Actually, I thought they just quit making em' the way they used to. I used to eat them with saltines all the time. After about a twenty (or 40) year sabbatical I tried a couple a few years ago and thought maybe Alpo took over the business!  

I do, however, still like Hamburger Helper! So I'm not THAT much of a snob!
