Glad you came out of this as well as you did, Could of been an eye instead of the nose. Things can happen in an instant with out warning. I am going to tell you what I tell my grandson when he gets cut. "Chicks Dig Scars" . I figure you Smalliebigs are like most of us on being just a big kid. Wear your badge of honor and tell tall tails about your scar. Can you use your imagination and tell about fighting off a ninja wielding a sharp sword?

Hahahaha don't  worry about it I am an idiot and will have a permanent reminder of how stupid I am. It could have been worse if I would have hit my head on Hog Wally's very solid aluminum console it would have been a BI I think???....or on my Eye but I did had my Costa's on at the time....not sure if it would have helped or not??

You said a mouthfull there.  And it could definitely have been worse.  Many a slip and fall in a boat by a lone fisherman has resulted in a fall overboard and body recovery, would probably be even more problematic in a river.

It's  all good I can take the jokes...I am 48 and still in decent shape, I have an absolutely beautiful  wife who is completely  motivated as a NP....I have a lot of friends who's wives refuse to work. I have an absolutely  beautiful  daughter, I am my own boss and make my own schedule, I was asked to be a partner with three of my best friends to start a lure business that is going to shock the industry , now I will look a little stupid with a massive  scar going across  my face. At first it didn't  bother me but, now I am feeling pretty stupid and very bummed out as to what I will look like but, it is what it is.....I hope people can look at my gruesome pics and think twice and be careful out on the water...possibly  save themselves  from some permanent damage  like I will have without and plastic  surgery.

Well I'm glad you're ok, love reading your reports. Things like this can happen anytime, we all get comfortable and forget about the dangers. It's  easy to see your passion for smallmouth, rivers,  and fishing in general. Those are things that are important no matter how many scars you face has. Now to you Mitch Craw tycoons, when am I going to be able to purchase some? I think it's been a year since I first asked, so I figured I'd pry some more. Glad you're ok, and hope you're back on some Smallies soon.
