Yeah because Nature being Nature is not right!

We need to kill all of the predator bullies!

We need more Walt Disney and less Wild America!

Hey, I didn't say I was right! It's just my feeling when I watch the video.

you always take things too far and stir up dung

Take things too far? Cracker please!

I think it has more to do with your sensitivity.

Man has never and will never enhance nature. Only nature can do that. Man only detroys it.

In one of the coves I fish for White bass almost every evening there are 6 deer and 2 foxes that literally play with each other every night. The foxes run between the deers legs and nip at their knees, the deer jump up and start kicking like bronco's and chase the foxes back into the woods. A few minutes later they do it again. It's fun to watch and happens every single evening I am in there.

Had a similar bowhunt to ur situation wrench. Watched a fawn and a fox play for half an hour 30 yds from me. Fox would hide under blowdown and then jump out onto log and mess with the fawn. Some of my best hunts resulted in no harvest.

Same scenario for me as well.  Saw a doe come running out of the woods at break neck speed and then stop at the gravel bar.  She hesitated for a minute then took off across the water.  Sure enough a yote came out of the tree line chasing her and when it got to the water it wasn't sure what to do.  Then it jumped into the water and took off after her.  At that point there was no way he was going to catch her.  He paused too long.

I don't have a problem with a coyote going after deer, but have never seen that myself. I know it happens and like Mitch stated they do often eat the deer while the animal is still alive. Again I have no problem with that situation. May seem cruel to us, but to the predator there is no reason to expend additional energy to kill the it when the animal is subdued.

My issue and this I have seem first hand on at least three separate occasions are dogs chasing deer on public lands. Although my wife and I benefitted on one of those hunts by harvesting one of the chased deer on a managed hunt, I don't like seeing these animals be hounded by domestic dogs. They seem to chase them to exhaustion, but don't outright kill the deer.

Darn.  I thought we would be seeing pictures of exotic drinks on a newly refurbished deck.  I'm sure Joe D will be disappointed too.:D

Who doesn't?

Not me.

But if I ever lose count, I just lift the stringer.

Clickers are too accurate. I prefer to estimate my fish counts.
