I just watched it on the internet, myoutdoortv.com   No one throws a spinnerbait anymore, do they Wrench.   Basically a dink fest, but Watson knew he screwed the pooch at the end.  June at LOZ in that 10 to 15 depth can be amazing.

If I remember correctly the offshore bite was unreal when they were there cause they were pulling a ton of water. So it's crazy not to see more of them catching them deep. But like Watson said, it takes time time and patience to find them deep. In this format they really don't have the ability to do that. They just have to chase the easy 1 to 2 pounders and hope for a bigger one. I also found it funny that Watson said he's never fished LOZ after Memorial Day. I don't buy that ;).... You'd think he'd have a few deep history spots that he could've tried. Usually only takes a few casts to know if they are there and willing to bite.

I don't think they are able to gain access to water release information. If it's not obvious on the surface it would be hard to know. Hopefully someone takes time to idle over some deep stuff and takes a chance. Second round will be different I'm sure.

so it will be a pete and repeat?  Whoever gets to PB 2 first will win.

No need to be the first one arriving at an area,  you can just hop in front of whoever is in your way when you get there and flip'em the bird.  ?

Someone said they get the same amount of money whether they win or lose.   Is that true?   Said that a percentage of what the show brings in is divided equally among the participants.  Nobody gets paid for quite awhile.  That keeps them honest and bound by the contract.

K.Short wasn't allowed to let anyone know that he won before the show aired.  If he had blabbed and they could prove it he would have been in breech.

That seems to be the way of it. Unless something has changed, there was never info on payouts. The deal was being in on the revenue. That's from a hard to find article about Duckett. He's the key guy, moneywise.

Honestly after a couple episodes it gets boring, guys catching mostly little bass and talking about how STRESSED they are the whole time. It is neat to see it on a familiar lake though.   I know they are all very competitive but they dont have any entry fee on the line.  Such a small field they are all showcased pretty well. I guess i just dont get why they are all so stressed. Just the fact they are on the show to start with is great for them and their sponsers

Well, it's a reality show and that's the reality of fishing.  Nobody goes out there and just slays all the hogs.  Not very often anyway. ?
