Sometime in the last several days someone or several someones have burgled boats at the Holiday Island marina. I received a call from one regular and a message from OA member Ken Drisch last night. Thank you Ken. This morning I went down and found my rods out of the boxes and lying on the marina deck. Both sonars were gone. As I walked to my stall, I noticed that most sonar units were missing. My cost when I bought the units was around $1800. They did not take the mounting brackets or the transducers from my boat.

Carroll County Sheriff's Department asks that all who had items taken contact them so they can arrange a single case file for all the losses.

Man. REALLY sorry to hear that RPS and for all involved. Probably already in the works but certainly give local pawn shops a call and give them the heads up on someone hawking some soar (heads only) units. Hard to trade a piece of fishing sonar for drugs amongst meth heads. Maybe the OA forum guys can keep en eye out on Craigslist, Ebay or other fishing forums with a buy/sell/trade. Total bummer.

Sorry to hear that RPS. There are getting to be two many people that don't respect the property of others. They probably don't respect themselves either. What a way to start out the new year?

Rps. If you get a list of units that were taken I know a detective in Rogers. He might be able to help you folks recover some of the stolen items. I am always looking at Craigslist. I will keep an eye out for units with no transducers.
