Drug deal gone bad? Doubtful. Tough times nowadays. Drug dealers can't even catch a break from gossip, bad press and rumors.

Poor drug dealers

Wrench you have been around different meth heads than I have.  A dismembered male body burned a fire, guess it could have just been an argument over whether or not a photo of the big fish was photo shopped or not.  Probably not drugs at all, maybe just a political disagreement.

Probably so.  The first clue that someone around here is doing meth is that they are working ALL THE TIME.  It even pisses them off to stop for lunch.

No time for constant Facebook posts, just occasional ones with pics of the project they just finished, and another of the one they are now starting.    I ain't too sure it's the dope that kills them.....They are probably working themselves to death. ?

They do work very hard and fast for a couple days or so.  Want a shed cleaned out, need some hay hauled, or some wood split they are pretty good at it, and as you said they will go all night.  Want someone who will show up every day, not so much thy crash and sleep for a few days.  They love too do things like hunt arrowheads at night because they aren't gonna sleep and have to do something.  Sadly as they degenerate into the clutches of the drug they lose regular jobs and can't do things like pay rent, buy food and buy their drugs, so they have a tendency to steal stuff from places they know, people they worked for, friends and family because all that matters is another high.  Meth is probably the most evil drug ever created, the chemistry is one terrifying.

I imagine in a few days we will lern something about the sex etc of the body. i really trust the cops on this one. I thought I read some place in the paper that there was some expanion of the castle doctrine Hmmmmm somethin I need to read for myself and not thru the news papers.

It was just a dumping spot I'm sure. I've never had to carry a gun so far, and have not decided yet that I need to. But I may change my mind some day.

There was a guy here (Wilbur, a vegetable farmer with no criminal record) that after calling the law ended up shooting someone that was allegedly coming through his front door before the law got there.   The guy (a known troublemaker with a rap sheet a mile long that had worked for Wilbur in the past) ended up dying on the porch and I guess there was no blood inside the house. The guy was only armed with a splitting axe and a survival knife so Wilbur ended up losing his property and went to prison for it where he had a heart attack and died about 3 years later while awaiting an appeal.

Another guy I knew of was a trucker that shot someone that broke into his truck while he was asleep in it at a truck stop. The guy that broke in was supposedly looking for his wife (LOL) and had a ball bat.  The dude that shot him went to jail and lost everything he owned.

Makes me wonder.... Under what circumstances can you shoot someone and just continue on with your life without going to jail, only losing the gun that you shot them with?  Do you have to let them shoot you, stab you, or hit you with an axe first ?

I saw an episode of First 48 a while back where some dude in KC killed this guy while returning fire, that was shooting at his apartment (from way outside his "castle"), after some scuffle broke out between the two guy's friend's or relatives and such. He was deemed to have only defended himself and got off without problems. So I think your odds are at least as good that you will be exonerated assuming, you were really defending yourself and didn't just help escalate the situation to that point. Either way in a life and death situation it's a risk probably worth taking. Then again I also read about some incidents where people seem to have got away with murder while using self defense as an excuse, and that kind of crap irritates me.

t agree with you Mitch.  Strapping a gun on your  side  tends to reflect on te individual. none of it to te advatage of the carrier. I do

like the option of being able to carry a concealed weapon.

I am not a lawyer. I sire make it my bussiness to try to keep up with the law by reding it and then reading it again because there is a lotvbetween the lines. Here is my own opinion.

Feeling threatened means darn ner nothing. They re werng this out as a excuse. In most cases there almost has to be exchange of fire. Witnesse are cructial to to any outcome. Even if you do shoot somebody yo can be taken to court and loose everything you have for life under wrongful death. I think about 99% of thide arm carrier jut want to tough guy and try to bully  bit.
