I've caught a bunch of fish on the TRD too. Just a physical difference, and the reason I stay with the cut worm. On a tough day, it might make an impact. And it's cheaper. Difference between 8 rigged and 12. I also throw the full size Zinkerz on a shakey head quite a bit. Handy for that too.
vernon Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 I always just cut and glue up two or three first thing before leaving the dock or while idling out in the morning. If that doesn't last the entire day there's always plenty of breaks along the way to rig up a few more. I do get frustrated though if I don't have more than one ready to go and have to start the process from the beginning. Especially if I'm catching fish. I don't know why but I've never liked rigging them up a couple of days or even the night before and storing them though. Laying on the deck is one thing but they just don't seem the same when I put them in a bag or a box. Painfully anal sometimes. magicwormman, Champ188 and huntest 3 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." George Carlin "The only money ever wasted is money never spent." Me.

Something just doesn't seem right about it. I always mark mine sitting in the cart line before takeoff. Ham, vernon and Sore Thumbs 3
jeb Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 At least I got one answer before it got derailed! Thanks Dave. Sure was hoping for a different answer, though. dtrs5kprs 1 John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
Sore Thumbs Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I have several of those 3700 sized plastic boxes that have only 2 sides. The plastic packages fit perfectly in each side. I think they are Falcon brand. There used to be some awesome clear plastic boxes. Bass Pro XPS quit making them and I think Falcon did too. I love those XPS crankbait boxes.

Most welcome. Basically you just have to buy one less wart, or value meal, and you've replaced your box for the year. The 3601 thin Plano works pretty well for a couple dozen prepped baits. I also keep bagged baits in a pencil/bank bag from Swell Mart. Usually hanging on clips in the pen aisle. Runs about $3. Cheap solution. magicwormman 1
