CXX is very tough line, but that's about the only good property it has.  Too stiff for anything but flipping heavy cover with a short line.

I am going to throw a fit on their FB page and see if I can round up a posse. ?

CXX is mostly what I use and what I thought you were talking about.  I had 6lb line on a spinning rod and lost a 30lb+ striper on because I pulled the hooks after setting the drag too tight.  Not joking.  Two treble hooks straightened.  CXX is WAY stronger than its rating. I've pulled my boat with it trying to pull a crappie jig straight and retrieve it.

I was just at the BPS here in St. Charles today and they were fully stocked with both green and fluorescent clear from 2lb-12lb.  I got a couple spools.

I JUST started using this stuff in 2# for my trout rods after seeing several people talking highly of it. So far I really like it. Hopefully BPS will still have some left in a few weeks and I can pick up several spools to last me a while.

Well crap.  That is about the only line I buy.  Been sold on it since Wayne , rest in peace, showed it to me about 10+ years ago and I have been stuck on it since.  Great line IMO.  I bought some of their fluorocarbon that is close to it, but it just wasn't the same thing.  How come this always happens!!!!!!!!  Us fisherman always find something we like and then they get rid of it.  I know things always change, but, oh you know the feeling.  I don't like the CCX due to diameter reasons for trout.  I know I will find something to replace my bass line, but.................................................................  my trout line I really loved that stuff. :(

It never fails.   Once I get hooked on a certain bait, reel, rod, line.... anything......it immediately becomes the hardest thing in the world to find.

I remember when Real Line was going out of business.  I bought up as many bulk spools as I could find.  I'm starting to run out and was likely to switch to P Line.  I've also used Yozuri Hybrid which was great line but they don't make that anymore either. :(

Maybe they aren't getting rid of it.  It's on their website again.  I could have sworn I searched for it one day when I was on there and I didn't see it.

BPS is showing all sizes in stock online also.
