Pepe Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 For years I have told people that the 3 things I am most afraid of are; 1.) My Wife. 2.) The IRS. 3.) Electricity Once again, I am reminded that I am married to a tough Wyoming Cowgirl. Under no circumstances was I going to be fishing today in the cold, rain, sleet & snow. But my wife, Lily, was up for it. A friend of ours needed a partner for the Joe Bass tournament out of Kimberling City today and was struggling to find someone willing. She just called on her way home and said they had a great time & took 3rd place with 19 lbs. She put 2 of the 5 in the well. They had a limit by 8:30 and culled several times. I am again reminded why she is #1 - on a lot more than the "most afraid of list" dan hufferd, MOPanfisher, Mitch f and 13 others 16
motoman Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Hot dang there Pepe! That's great to hear it was worth the effort.........she's is tough..........not sure if I'd be too eager to get out to fish in this weather myself.
Mitch f Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I met her before, You're a lucky man! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Sprint21fter Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Good for her. I knew some big bags would be caught in the snow. dtrs5kprs and Champ188 2

Champ188 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Super job by Lily and big congrats. I myself know the blessings of having a tough girl for a wife who loves to fish. I have only one question ... she had to call and tell you she was on the way home with money? You were not even tough enough to go to the weigh-in? Dewayne French, vernon and Pepe 3

And then I realized that I wasn't tough enough to keep up so that kind of blew the whole darn theory. I didn't really need somebody else in my life calling me sissy names all the time! Now I be like, "Would you PLEASE leave me alone? I SAID I don't WANT to play Navy SEAL today!" Pepe and Champ188 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." We played in the snow until we were all frozen. i had hoped she would call before weigh in if they had a good day - but, believe it or not, cell phone use is prohibited by tournament rules. Seems odd to me.
