I wonder what the advantages will be over the cheaper wart that doesn't break the bill as easy

If they don't improve the durability, it's a non starter. Can't grind it if it's going to break.

Also a little light on the depth range. You can get a wart down past 6' without unusual effort.

Even if it is just as good as a Pre Rap.....it won't be. Nothing ever will. Even if concrete studies indicated a new "old wart" rendition caught more bass at a 5:1 clip over a Pre Rap on every body of water in the country....still wouldn't matter. The lore of that lure is set in granite.

I remember when the Zara Spook went through similar changes and stages of folklore and cult status.  Eventually all the believers die off and we move on to the next episode of paranoia and psychotic lure coveting and hoarding.

Obviously there is no cure or treatment for this affliction - it just morphs on from generation to generation, occasionally altering its DNA profile so as to remain relatively undetected by those unfamiliar with the symptoms.

I'm curious as to what form it might manifest itself in with abkeenan's offspring?  Some futuristic, bluetooth enabled form of Creme worm perhaps?  Once they alter the wire hook guard they'll never be as effective as the original and, hence, his children, nieces and nephews will scour the scorched earth in search of the original - you know, the one with the single wave bluetooth, pre-skype capable version.

Piston 1 gone, piston 2 on its way. Buying new powerhead, getting injectors cleaned, filters replaced and warranty. Having place in Nixa do it. I know folks that can put motor in but don't have the capability to test all the injectors and pumps.

Assuming the crankshaft is ok It can be rebuilt good as new for under 4550.00 (15 month warranty).

The powerhead you're getting is a reman anyway.   Why do they not wanna go that way?

Testing/cleaning injectors and pumps is simple stuff.

I'm an idiot? I've heard nothing but good things about them so I just did it. I'm in a hurry to get it back so I made impulse decision. No other reason.

Way off RK wart topic but...

are the bilge area fuel filters worthwhile for an HPDI to help further with fuel cleanliness?

i poked a hole in the side of my 200 merc Thursday and am swapping it for a newer Yamaha

Nothing wrong with that.  It will definitely be done sooner that way.
