officially retired again.

kind of got roped into fishing the friday nighter out of cambell point. guy calls and wants me to fish the friday nighter with him to teach him how to fish a jig.  i kind of warded that question off by asking if he would have time to mow my mom's yard since her mower is still in the repair shop.  he countered with i'll just bring a mower and leave it tomorrow and you can mow it.  so, after that i felt somewhat obligated to repay the generosity.

haven't been fishing for nearly two weeks, and not at all forever around cambell point.  i did not see any need to make a big run.  so, i just dinged around pretty close.  most everyone went upstream and a few boats went down.  so, we kind of had some water to ourselves.  i put on a jig and fished for 5 bites.  ended up 3rd and 2nd big bass - 15.14 / 5.36.  1st place had 16 and some change, and 1st big bass was 5.37.  32 boats showed up.

barely paid expenses even with a 3rd place finish and 2nd big bass.  i am retired again.  well, there will be those times that i have to repay someone.

Not sure but I think you might have overpaid.  

Guy's lucky he didn't "fall" overboard after a counter offer like that!

I would pay someone to mow my yard 40 bucks...it takes 2 - 3 hours to mow my yard with a 46 inch garden tractor...lol
