Let's Go Fishing

I know the high water has raised Spring fishing frustration to new levels. I can't fix the water levels. What I can do is this:

On Sunday I plan to fish from as early as Colin will ferry me to the boat at the Holiday Island marina (9:00 AM +/- until early afternoon). I plan to find out if a top water bite exists in the flooded brush, try a jig or Ned at the old water line, and then migrate to my first intentional look for walleyes this year. Worms will be involved.

Does anyone want to jump in? If you do not have the walleye gear, no problem as I do.

Dang it. I'm in Kansas City for daughters soccer games. I'd love to sometime. I always seem to learn something when fishing with others. Good luck rps.

Man, I never heard of so many excuses - wait, scratch that - I never knew that there were so many excuses NOT to go fishing!

Seriously, RPS I hope you can find somebody to take advantage of your most generous offer.  Lots of great knowledge that could be gleaned from this opportunity I would think.

As I write I am proctoring Saturday school for the usual suspects. Otherwise I would have picked Saturday.
