He was watching something intently.

As a father to 3 sons, I must confess a little relief when i caught mine doing same.

I use a lot of pumkin are anything in the green/ pumpkin vien that is in the natural vein. Then there is PINK. I do not really care about colors for color sake. But that one can be a exception at times.

Got a couple of those HUK Daiwa Tatula "freebie's" coming myself. People can trash HUK all they want but I personal absolutely love their stuff. Some of the most comfortable gear I've ever worn and is extremely breathable when it comes to the summer months. I have both long and short performance tee's, as well as a hoodie and love all of them. Rain gear looks sweet but just can't justify dropping 5 or 6 bills on them.

Hope mine is a better winter shirt than summer. It's hot as get out. Price was perfect though.

To me all those synthetic performance fabrics are so hot.  IT hard to beat a good old fashion cotton t-shirt

I couldn't disagree more. Sticky, moisture retaining, old cotton.....nope There is a reason why you see every NFL, NBA or any athlete these days sporting the UA, Nike, etc "dry fit" type athletic apparel.

Reason could be from the screen printed logo. The latex or whatever material that logo is cut from then silk screened on makes it hotter and will stick to your skin. That Tatula logo on the back is a pretty good size from the pic I saw on the paperwork to send in to claim your shirt. The shirts I have from HUK have minimal lettering so they don't do that.

Could always take your shirt off to be really cool in the hot months.....but then the "Bikini Dock Pattern" could dry up pretty quick and Net Monkey 2.0 could be pretty upset about that bite fizzing out.

Me too.  I live in the new sun screen apparel.  I even bought some cheap ones from Hanes and they work great too.  I hate sunscreen but I burn like nobody's business.  Cotton is a poor performer especially in winter if it gets wet.

Some of the cheap stuff almost works better. Walmart carries some that really works, under $10 for the shirts, and $20 for the shorts.

There was something about the Human shirt. Just didn't seem as breathable, or as fast drying, as the others, even with a breeze.

Hard to beat the BPS type fishing shirts when it is really scorching. SPF and caped.

I am a penny pincher. I am allergic to paying full price on things no matter if they are large ticket items or a Snickers bar from a gas station. I regularly shop at JC Penny and am not ashamed to admit it. I wear a lot of the St. John's Bay or The Foundry brands that they carry in their stores. For the price they are every bit as quality as my Polo brand polo collared shirts. I actually went there last weekend and they had the St. John's Bay fishing style shirts with the double front pockets and vented cape as you describe for $13 on clearance. Got one for my father and can't be that price with a stick. They also carry the Columbia brand and you can get steals on their gear if you hit it right.

I have worn a ton of the St. John's Bay big and tall clothes from Penney's over the years. Good stuff ... much better than you'll get from some of these online big and tall places like Destination XL.
