We lose a heated dock for winter fishing and the quiet of the night is split open I am surprised this is allowed on Stockton, MONKEYS? what monkeys?
Dutch Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 That does seem a bit different for that part of the world. Makes me glad that I night fish on a different part of the lake.

I have fished for years on that lake, sometimes dropping a split-shot on a carpeted boat floor shuts them down, the music/people noise and crowd trash sure doesn't help.............I know families who USED to stay at Mutton, but don't want to expose their kids to the "party" crowd.....keep waiting for they big blow to toss 8 foot waves during a concert..... MONKEYS? what monkeys?
ramman123 Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Not trying to start any thing but that dock/marina has a right to Cater to people of any sorts and u have ur right and opinion on the way u use the lake Times are changing but just think of the revenue that is coming in for those businesses/employees yes its seasonal but still money gained for the local economy Flysmallie, grizwilson and WoundedOne 3

LOZ etc....this bar on the lake IMHO doesn't fit..and I can tell you complaints are happening because its causing the people who USED to go to Stockton to spend their $ elsewhere.....once that effects peoples wallets who cater to the traditional visitors to the lake then rules change...... ozark trout fisher 1 MONKEYS? what monkeys?

The problem is, even with the rough lake you get when the wind kicks up on Stockton, it is still less rough than a busy weekend on Lake of the Ozarks. Stockton used to be a lake I would avoid at all costs if the weather looked bad. Now it looks like a feasible alternative to dealing with huge boats and drunken idiots with no concern for anyone but themselves.
