abkeenan Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 For those of you inflicted with Baithoarditis, such as myself. Sneak peak at some of this years ICast gear and tackle. I posted some the things I found interesting. For all baits go here https://www.bassmaster.com/gear/slideshow/199-new-products-icast-2017 The Berkeley Snap Jig looks really interesting for those of you that like the Rapala Ice Jig for vertical presentation and/or the Walter chasers. Freedom Tackle also has their spin on the Rapala Ice Jig: Interesting bait from ZMan designed to be Ned Rigged: New Shimano Curado: New Lew's Hyper Mag - Lightest reel they've ever made at 5.4 oz New Lew's Super Duty which I know is a popular reel on the boards here New CURADO rods. First time, that I am aware of, that Shimano has had a Curado line of RODS: Lew's Mark Rose Ledge Series rods. Some 9 footer models in their lineup: About time someone came out with a culling system that didn't punch holes in fish: magicwormman and big c 2
moguy1973 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Cal Coast has had a clip culling system out for a while. Their culling beam floats also. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Cal_Coast_Fishing_Clip-N-Cull/descpage-CCFCNC.html http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Cal_Coast_Fishing_Money_Beam_Culling_Beam/descpage-CCFMB.html Seth 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Hadn't seen those. Should be a mandatory item for all tournaments. The old style metal clips should be banned. Quillback, Daryk Campbell Sr, big c and 1 other 4
moguy1973 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Ok, so #113 on that list is getting a little ridiculous. A 16" screen on a fish finder? $5000-5800?? That's more than a lot of people spend on their boat. I am not one to talk about spending money on tackle just to chase pea brained green and brown fish....but having a boat rigged with 10-20K worth of sonar???? Come on. magicwormman, terryj1024 and crazy4fishin 3
176champion Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Im happy with 7 inch screens or even 5 inch....4.5 screen with gps on my console and a 7 inch on bow ..7 inch on console would be better as to see the gps map better. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
Quillback Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 I like the looks of the Spro 90 crank bait and the Megabass "Dark Sleeper". The Sleeper retails for $5.99 supposedly, almost makes me think it's a typo. abkeenan and magicwormman 2
crazy4fishin Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Ab - thanks for posting....great lunch time / stuck inside / have to look at another dumb spread sheet break....I think these items will catch many a fisher person for sure ...my wife?? Well she wont be thanking you so much when I tell here that I have to keep up with the OA guys / gals other wise they send me laughing emoticons making fun of my tiny tackle inventory.... magicwormman and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker
moguy1973 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 These boots look like they would be decent warm water wading shoes if they keep the sand and gravel out. At least the black ones do. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
