Champ188 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Well, it took 50 years, but the world's first $100,000 bass boat is finally here. Feast your eyes upon the 2018 Ranger Z521-L. I'm told the sticker price is $98,900, with sales tax pushing the total well above the $100K mark. Wowzers. Dhunter1 1
Quillback Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Amazing how much boat prices have jumped in the last few years. But they are selling them. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
176champion Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 That's just the basic model also for 98,900.. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips

For that kind of money they better guarantee a limit every trip! Daryk Campbell Sr, Ellros and shark bait 3
magicwormman Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I could hire Babler once a week for the rest of my life! I think I might just have to keep my 2000 Ranger. Sore Thumbs, Ellros, Daryk Campbell Sr and 3 others 6

As a "Ranger Guy" for 40 years I can't believe it but I don't much like the looks of it. To me, the seats, consoles and hull graphics are trending towards Nitro and, even though lots of folks predicted it, I honestly never thought that would happen. Not slamming on Nitro - I just always liked the way Ranger seemed (to me anyways) to exhibit a somewhat unique style and look. Not that it's a disappointment exactly - I dumped my life savings on my 2017 Z521 so it's not like I was in the market anyways. AND, being the wily financial wizard that I am, now I can say that I "saved" thirty grand in the process! That's a reasonable point, if you're a working dude with family, and can only get out maybe 20 times a year, it would be cheaper to hire a guide. Not to mention you have to have insurance, pay for maintenance, fuel, and all the other boat expenses. Champ188, magicwormman, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4
dblades Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Doesn't even have any pole type anchors installed, they are really going cheap for an anniversary edition. I'd like all the bells and whistles on mine. Looks like I'll only have to shell out about 5 years worth of my military retirement too own this baby. On another note those consoles are the ugliest I've ever seen from that picture. Champ188 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
eyedabassman Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Makes our boats that we own resale go up!!!! Champ188 and magicwormman 2
