my go to baits is a blk short arm spinnerbait w/ colorado blade, blk/blu jig and craw, and a 10" ol monster worm, but my absolute favorite is the one I'm catching on that night. usually just have 5 rods and 2 of them are back ups. nothing worse than having one of those professional overruns that go all the way to the spool !! not that I have ever done that

I haven't thrown a spinner bait at night, but fishing a week ago on one of the Bella Vista lakes, the guy with me caught a 4.25 bass on a black spinner bait with a #6 Colorado blade.  He had a red Menace Grub on it as a trailer.

I like to throw a 1/2 - 3/4 oz wobblehead with a black/blue creature bait of some kind.  I just don't do much night fishing.

Pretty much just echoing what everyone else has already said they throw.

1- Jika Rig with either a Big 10-12" C-Mac Worm or full size Zoom Brush Hog

2- Jig and craw trailer

3-  Craw on a wobblehead

4- Last time down only threw it for a short time without any strikes (about a dozen casts) but instead of a spinnerbait I threw a bladed jig (one of Bo's Crazy Jigs). Great vibration and if I give it more of a shot I know it will produce. Fish shouldn't have a problem finding it in the dark. It thumps.

Merc1997 (Bo) is a night fishing MASTER. I think he is at Icast - if he gets a chance to read this, he will have some great insight.

I throw a Black spinnerbait with the colorado blade.  My go to is the Jewel Jolt with a salt craw trailer.  I like a black and blue chatterbait and I've actually slayed them on the ned in junebug a bunch.

Spinnerbait or jig: Just used up my last Uncle Josh frog. What are you guys using as a trailer these days? Hard to change after 50 years. LOL

I was lucky to find a good supply of uncle josh #1 jumbo pork frog in white and have been dying them, I haven't got to the point yet where I have to change.

1. Big worm: Texas-rigged

2. Spinnerbait: black or chartreuse or chartreuse/white

3. Salt craw: Texas-rigged. Black/pink, black/red

4. Jig: usually dark colors, but sometimes with bright fluorescent colors mixed in

5. Topwater- black: if it is really calm I'll throw a jitterbug, a spook can do well as can a buzzbait ( I don't throw buzzbaits often)

6. Creature baits like the brush hog are great. I don't throw the too much, but I'm doing it more and more.

For line, I use mono almost exclusively anymore. For two reasons: abrasion resistance on dock cables, and night fishing with a black light. I find that using a black light really helps me detect subtle bites at night. I fish much better when I can see AND feel my line.
