If you liked Breaking Bad you may also enjoy this 10 episode series, but the depiction of LOZ is hilarious.  They show it as a sleepy & calm body of water, even less traffic than TR, lol.  Turns out they filmed it mostly in Georgia at Altoona & Lanier.

Makes me want to go spend some time there.

The second episode shows the money-launderer crossing the main channel of the Lake in a 16' open aluminum v-bottom with a tiller-steered outboard.  Can you imagine doing that without bad results on LOZ ?  LMAO !  There are several scenes filmed in the LOZ area but as soon as they show the Lake you know you're not at LOZ because you don't see the usual wall-to-wall docks lining the shore.  So far, the series has not been kind in showing interactions with Locals.  Also showed the guy buying a stringer of catfish for $100 from an angler tied up to a dock...

I can do better than imagine it I have seen paddle boards, Yaks and even some swimmers one time crossing the mouth of Mill Creek during the week

I would have watched it if it was filmed at LOZ. They filmed in Georgia because it is less expensive to film there for some reason. Walking dead is filmed there as well for the same reason.

Georgia offers lots of financial incentives to film companies.  More and more shows are being filmed there.

So you only watch shows and movies that are filmed locally? Just harassing you. I think we would all be surprised by where things are actually filmed.

I lived in Buford, Ga. for over 3 years, Lanier was way cooler than LO.....until you wanted to catch fish.   The biggest bass I caught there was barely over 2 pounds.  The night time striper fishing around the lights is kinda cool, so I hear.

I ran  into a tourist filling his motorhome at a gas station who told me he was going to Dodge City, Kansas to visit the mountains just outside Dodge. He told me he saw them in an episode of Gunsmoke. He got very angry when I told him the nearest mountains to Dodge were in Colorado.....the conversation still makes me smile.

Well, there are the Flint Hills just after Emporia.
