fishinwrench Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Mrs. Paul's had a recipe on the box that was called "buffalo popcorn fish", but as far as I can tell it has always been minced Pollock. The "buffalo" part was in reference to the SEASONING not the fish. Nobody needs to be eating any nastyass buffalo. Roadkill gopher is much safer. http://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/wild-chef/2013/07/why-you-should-pass-buffalo-fish-0 http://www.wgem.com/story/24719802/2014/02/Thursday/health-officials-urge-you-to-stay-away-from-buffalo-fish Gopher is so dang good that they'll eat each other. http://billingsgazette.com/lifestyles/recreation/out-there-cannibalistic-gophers-risk-death-for-roadside-meal/article_20cfde0c-3fb4-11df-84bc-001cc4c03286.html
