Lake View?

Just seen Cheese post about water patrol and it peeked my curiosity. How many of you have a lake view from your house?  My dream is to have a lake view with a few hundred acres behind it for my cattle and hunting.

We have a great lake view in Baxter , but i don't think my neighbors in the 300 acres behind us would like the cattle in their yard.    But hey, ya just never know.

  We're considered "Lake Front" because the land behind us is Corp owned, but the lake is actually about 200 feet away, except during high water, when it comes up the gully behind us.

I'm high on a hill with a great view looking south towards the dam, branson belle, and that huge open area where all the rental boats hang out burning gas. Room for hunting in the power line easement right behind the house but not good for cattle.

68' (at normal) from the water on the back side and 200 yards to the water from the front.  My dad's place, but he LETS US STAY FOR FREE AND EVERYTHING!  Interesting story..... the next door neighbors' house.... part of it is actually on the Corps.  When the house was built many moons ago the take line was set, surveyed, plans approved to build.  Several years later.... a new Corps survey was completed and the take line was adjusted and a portion of his home is across the new take line.

This is the view behind our house. It's 200 ft. above the James, near pt. 13 1/2. I'm afraid the land near by is not suitable for cattle.
