And I bite my tongue to keep from informing the female that she apparently married the wrong guy. She should have married a city boy with a Christian Grey job who hires plumbers, mechanics, electricians, HVAC techs, lawn care services, ect. to keep all the things that are important to her working to her satisfaction. Then she could just sit around and wait for him to come home carrying a handful of roses so he could tie her up and blister her behind. But nope, she married a good ol'country boy for lots of good reasons....and now has just forgotten why. The boy wants a boat. For all he has done and continues to do for her and the family, he deserves to be happy and go fishing sometimes. If you want him to continue reeling in carp on an old Zebco 33 from the bank, then get off your butt and go down to the crik to wash those clothes, wring them out by hand and hang'em on the line. Then get busy plucking chickens. BilletHead, tho1mas and ness 1 2
Seth Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Good luck on finding a decent jet of any size for $3000. If you bump up to $4000, you may find something worth buying. Of course you never know when you may stumble on to a good deal though. My first boat was a 1995 boat/motor/trailer 1648 with a 50hp jet that I paid $1500 for and then sold for $2500 a few years later. I realized that $2500 was far too cheap when it sold within a few hours.

fishinwrench Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 There are some crazy good deals out there. In all honesty though most aren't on CL or in the classified ads. We have a radio station that does a "Country Sale" show once a week where folks call in and sell just about everything except real estate and firearms, and being close to the lake area there's always several boats on there. You just gotta listen to the hour long program and be the first one there with some cash. Most are gonna be boats with various things wrong with them, or at the very least they are going to be dirty boats that have sat unused for awhile with flat trailer tires, bad fuel, weathered hoses, bad water pump impellers and leaky geacase seals. But even after the cost of freshening it all back up you will have a really good boat for a really good price. Seth 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Saturday morning yard sale show

But don't listen to it while your wife is around or you'll end up buying TV's, furniture, trampolines, cookware, and everything else imaginable. Trust me when I say that driving 35 miles to teardown and move a trampoline is NOT how you wanna start a Saturday morning. mixermarkb and liphunter 2
Terrierman Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Did you get that boat yet? What are you anyway? A man or a mouse?
