Stein Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I just use double uni knot on nanofil to leader for trout setup. Occasionally it will break when cinching down but if it cinches fine I have never broken it later on a fish or snag.

So, it's functional, but I can't stand it. Seth and Johnsfolly 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I just don't know why I can't get a knot to work with nano.

There are things I dislike about every one I've ever used, but I'll be glad to share the knots I know. I use 5 or 6 knots a lot. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Plus one on bobbers i like palsa because they cast well and are a hybrid between using a bobber or not using one. I grew up fly fishing without them
David Unnerstall Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 It is good to know that others have trouble tying all of these wild-posterior knots we now use. I went through my fingers with a saw and tying knots is the thing I dislike the most about what we do. And why do we "tie" a knot (with an 'I") but are "tying" a knot (with a "Y")? tho1mas and JestersHK 2
