Members ckjacks Posted March 11, 2018 Members Posted March 11, 2018 Picked up this guy in the back of Music on 3/10/18. No doubt an escapee from last year's floods. Wasn't sure if I needed a trout permit or not, so back he went. Fish24/7, james, Ron Burgundy and 6 others 9
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 11, 2018 Root Admin Posted March 11, 2018 I almost posted you wouldn't have to have a permit but... I don't know. I don't think you would if you were in Missouri and caught it. Arkansas I don't know. I doubt it though. ckjacks 1

mojorig Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 That could have been from the flooding or a remnant from old stocking. Rainbow Trout were stocked in Bull Shoals Lake up to 2014. For the Arkansas side, you would need a trout stamp to harvest a trout from the lake.
