That video had me smiling the entire time! What an amazing day that must have been for James and for Paul. Not to mention everyone on the street and in the pup that got to share in the experience. Just WOW!

Yeah -- that's written/sung by John. Almost all their songs were attributed to Lennon/McCartney because of an early agreement between John and Paul to do it that way. But, you can tell whose song it is by who's singing. And, the really weird ones are almost always John's and the fun ones are usually Paul's. Example with two songs about places in Liverpool: Strawberry Fields -- John, Penny Lane -- Paul.

And -- the barber on Penny Lane. That was pretty fun. 

I was smiling the whole time too, except when he talked about his mum. Then I got a lump in me throat.

I don't really pay much attention to song lyrics to be honest but a couple that some acquaintances have screwed up that make me laugh.

dirty deeds, thunder chief (correctly- dirty deeds done dirt cheap) by one of my co-workers 

sneaky snake gigglin and a pissin. (correctly- gigglin and a hissin) by my cousin's nephew.

I read a lot of lyrics partly because I cannot hear the music. you get a different perspective  reading them. Seems to me most of the time They make no sense or and many do deliver morally wrong msg about things like drinking,sex and Infidelity or even violence. I can see where that when hooked to a good tune might have a negative impact.
