I'd rather sit on my deck, drink MGD, and watch the buzzards eat my fish guts than go look at a million dollar blue collared elk ANY DAY. Deadstream 1

Probably because it's beyond your 5 county travel radius😌. If you see the elk at Peck ranch you are going to have to get gas. That would definitely add up fast. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
fishinwrench Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 Lymann Moore has elk 3 miles from here, I see them everytime my wife makes me go to Walmart. Saw one sparring with an old D8 bulldozer last Thursday. Bet you can't see that at Peck ranch. So if you wanna see elk just bring your tourist dollars to Gravois 😊 Johnsfolly 1
Gavin Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 St Louis County has some Elk & a herd of Buffalo in a park 15 minutes from my house. It gets allot of traffic. Lone Elk Park, NW off the outer road at I-44 and 141, by the Tyson Wolf Refuge. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
fishinwrench Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 Used to be some buffalo in Lebanon but I think they got rid of them. Way cooler than elk IMO
fishinwrench Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 I'll gladly take some city folk to see some elk, non-typical whitetail, and 3 lb. Brook trout, if they'll take me to see real gang-bangers, homeless wino's sleeping on park benches, and a transvestite street walking hooker. I haven't witnessed any of those since Orlando.
