Actually since I'm a born and bred suburbanite Springfield would be just fine for me.  No adaption necessary.  7 years min for me but we have spent more time the past year talking about where we want to live after that than ever before.  Have buddies that went to FL, LOZ, Tablerock and some stayed where they're at.  All have there pluses and minuses.

The greatest thing would be to own 3-4 homes and be able to switch between them at will.

Whoever said "money can't buy happiness" was wrong.

Would not mind a country place with great internet. 10 yrs out though. Still have 2 in school.

I'm on my last 4 years of high school. If we survive this one we are getting out. On a lake, river, or beach, TBD by the Queen.

I have a buddy with a house in KC, Basalt CO and Fort Myers FL.  It's nice if you can cover it.  He has trucks at each one too.

I usually try to hit the Frying Pan when out there elk hunting; I hunt on Red Table above the reservoir.  Pretty pricy in that neighborhood.

Looking to get some lures wet tomorrow morning, with the brother-in-law. Valley Water Mill Pond has failed me this year, Springfield Lake has been a disappointment, as have Fellows, Stockton and McDaniel... Where are the fish right now??? You folks have any tips on some spots to try?

Go fish the rivers! Hit slack with wood by current now.

Better check the gauges first.  A lot of rain this week

What he said as well!

Good luck. You might want to try trout fishing at Roaring River once they open C&R. Should be lots of active fish and not many anglers.
