I don't think they do public meetings but there is a report.

This was 2014. There's probably more recent reports available but I haven't found them. 

 

I still haven't seen anyone that beats the stocking bible consistently answer the questions of:

How many fish would need stocked and at what frequency and size?

OR What measurable results would quantify if the program was a success?

They also have the special public input meetings before changes are made, last fish one that I recall was catfish in Truman but I don't stay on top them; they did have one about CWD last month. You can sign up and they will keep your email full of info on what they are doing.

Thousands and thousands, all sizes; do it monthly; when the average daily catch is in the dozens and fish average less than a pound it will  be about as good as you can get. At that point you can tell they are running out of forage  is why they are small. Derbys can just go by count to chose winner.

Or you can stock just a few tagged fish and combine all the derbies with only the takers of a tagged fish the winner. No weigh in needed.

Keep beating this drum, but if you look at item 7 of this report  "Conduct at least one public meeting to discuss fisheries management at Tablerock".  That is the meeting I'm trying to find.

I sent an email to the MDC asking about any census or stocking reports for the major lakes in MO. A staffer replied with a list of all the contacts for each lake and instructions to contact them directly for the information.

That's a bit of a pet peeve of mine with AGFC - They write up those reports but don't let anyone know how to access them or better yet, provide links to them on their website.  You have to know who to contact and what report you are looking for to get a copy.  

It's in their best interest to make this stuff easily available to the public so that we know that they are doing good work out there, one example is AGFC stocking walleye in Table Rock, but for the most part it appears that many anglers that fish Table Rock were unaware that is was happening.

I have exchanged emails with the AGFC public info person about this but nothing has happened.
