gotmuddy Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Better bring the rock salt and the rain gear! weather.com has it looking pretty crappy. JestersHK 1 everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
JestersHK Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 HAHA, Just hoping the cold holds off and its a bit warmer than last year. First pass doesn't look too bad. Hope the precip chance stays below 50%. On a side note, if it stays in the 30's at night I would really like to get out and do some night fishing if anyone can hook me up with where to go? Was too cold last year at night, and didn't have a good lay of the land, but if anyone can share some safe wadeable areas myself and my cousin would be down to fish with the lights out. snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 The dam at Norfork is easy going if they aren't running water. WoundedOne and JestersHK 2

I may be able to be convinced to try some night fishing with some jerkbaits. If there isn't a load of vegetation like last year below the lodge may be a decent spot. JestersHK and WoundedOne 2
JestersHK Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Shoot I already had pencilled you in for me dragging you out there to chase browns to all wee hours of the morning! Marty thinks he's gonna sleep this trip too lol! Maybe we'll have another woohoo beast attack like last year... BilletHead and Johnsfolly 2
Terrierman Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Wade in at Rim Shoals would be my non-wading fisherman recommendation. I've seen people there doing well before with the kind of water that's predicted. JestersHK 1
Terrierman Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Accu weather is predicting 40's and 50's. Maybe a shower on Friday. Balmy weather if they're close to correct. JestersHK 1
gotmuddy Posted November 29, 2018 Author Posted November 29, 2018 I dont think any weather will top the first year! JestersHK and Ham 2 everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
netboy Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Wading Rim Shoals would be a challenge with the current 35mw flows they are scheduled for tomorrow. I would suggest wading Norfork at Quarry Park just below the dam. The browns move up there for the spawn. Whatever you do, don't go to the C&R area below Bull Shoals dam. That area is closed to all fishing from Nov 1 thru Jan 31 for the brown trout spawn. JestersHK and snagged in outlet 3 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Any water at rim makes it treacherous to wade. JestersHK 1
