Flysmallie Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 But I understand that some people are terrified to fly. In August I had a guy drive 14 hours one-way to attend a training class. Johnsfolly 1

In that same time period 346,627 people have died in motor vehicle accidents in the USA alone. Most pointless statistic ever. Always fails to factor in the time spent in aircraft vs. the time spent in automobiles while racking up 200k miles every 4-5 years. If everybody wasn't out running around in their cars for no good reason, clogging up the highways instead of staying home and folding laundry then it would be much lower.

Not anymore. The restraining order and house arrest bracelet was removed the day before you got your labotomy.
tjm Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Never bothered me to fly at all, but I'd drive 14 hours to avoid airport security freaks. Well that and so I could tote my tackle.

Cost 140.00 Is Hawaii not REALLY part of the U.S. ?

tjm Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Do you suppose that might be in case the plane had to land elsewhere for some weather or emergency? 52% in the home where only 20% of time is spent and 1/2 of that we are asleep?

I'd wager the percentage is greater than that. We average 6 per day in this house. Actually that statistic can be used in both instances....since planes crash into home's on a semi-regular basis.
