vernon Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Holy cats! As if I wasn't already excited enough about heading down there on Friday! willyfish Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 A stringer mount of those hanging in your lodge would start some conversations for sure. dan hufferd 1
Champ188 Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 You've got to do that stringer mount … that's just one incredible day of fishing. It's not every day a 17-pound string of smallmouth takes a back seat to anything, but multiple 3-pound crappie trump just about anything. Congrats, my friend, and well done. dan hufferd, big c, vernon and 1 other 4

Heck, I think I'm gonna get a replica stringer mount made of that replica stringer mount! terryj1024, tapout, Champ188 and 1 other 2 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Guest Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 well, i was going to put a post up, but i can just put my two cents in here. the night bite has faded and it sure seems that many fish are suspended, many out in the lake. your fishing report just proved what i thought to be going on. we fished the k.c. cow creek area last night and did not have a bite after dark. guess we will have to wait for the moon to get smaller before the night bite picks back up unless you want to fish from 2 am to daylight. bo
Bill Babler Posted April 23, 2019 Author Posted April 23, 2019 My celebrity status was short lived as we did not have a single crappie today fishing the same water. Zero wind and the bass were also a pain. Could only get bit on a 1/8th. ned in gp. I was hero for a day, back to the doldrums. magicwormman 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Bill Babler Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 Friend caught these yesterday while i was lucking into mine, he and his son were fishing for them. Caught them all suspended in pole timber about 12 feet down over 30 ft. Pretty much the same thing we did. They were using swimming minnows. He also caught these and gave them to us. Becky severed them up tonight. Said there were 80 in one patch. Johnsfolly, vernon and magicwormman 2 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
LD Fisher Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Mmmmm good!!! Too bad I've wintered so well. I now need to shed a few lb's or I'm gonna have to buy 4 more batteries to set on the port side of the boat so it will set level in the water!!! 😁 crazy4fishin, vernon and terryj1024 2 1
