Pretty impressive video. Glad your house escaped damage. 

We’re staying over on Indian Point at Rock Lane and rode it out under a resort pavilion of sorts. Figured that was just about as safe as our third floor condo unit and after absorbing a few thousand dollars hail damage to the Tahoe a couple years ago across the street at Stillwater’s figured we’d control what we could. 

The cloud rotation was directly above us at one point and a bit of an attention getter even for an old Kansas boy that’s seen about a million of these things over the years.

Guys, I can't say enough about this app. This was originally developed by stormchasers from the University of Oklahoma. It has the direct Doppler Radar information, as fast as it comes off the radars.

It has many levels of data, some of which can be a bit overwhelming, but the storm cell tracks are worth their weight in gold, even if you just keep it on a basic composite reflectivity view. Storm warning and watch boxes show up as soon as they are issued, nationwide. 

If you are a bit more of a weather geek, the wind speed, cloud height, storm total precipitation and precipitation views are super interesting. It is hands down the best severe weather tool I've ever seen, and I've been using it for over 10 years now, both for fishing, and for watching weather for outdoor concert events where we are tasked with finding the balance between keeping sometimes tens of thousands of folks safe, and adherence to the old "the show must go on" rule.

We use that thing exclusively. In fact, this is a screenshot during the storm Tuesday.

EF2 1mile from our home in Rogersville. Same tornado that hit Waterford. Grew up in Kansas and saw many, but never that close. Worked this p.m., working tomorrow and Saturday helping friends and others clean up. If anyone would like to assist, many Churches are organizing crews.
