Bill Babler Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Got rained out this morning. 1.25 inches here at the Lodge since 3 AM and its coming down pretty hard. 47 degree and raining is for those with a stiffer chin than me. Got to stop one of these days. Probably drop shot time. snagged in outlet 3, magicwormman, terryj1024 and 1 other 4 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Wasn't too bad here in Bella Vista and it looks to be gone - probably going to park itself over your lodge and pour on you. (You have my sympathy). magicwormman 1
Bill Babler Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 10 and still pouring. Were up to 1.5 my guys would go this afternoon if it would stop, but my body is aching like crazy with all the days I've been out and this wet weather. I'm hoping they don't want to go either. magicwormman 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
vernon Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Man, and to think I'm not even there yet. You think this is bad just wait till next Saturday when I bring the really good stuff. Might even whip up some locusts this year! Quillback, Royal Blue, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 1 3 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Bill Babler Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 When we see the fish start to group up post spawn. Buster is already starting to up and down them at the dam. Watch the Pro/tour coming up. I'll bet some of those guys will be fishing for numbers up and down. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
rps Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 The last two weekends have been stay off the lake weekends for me. Between bad weather and moving I may not be able to seriously fish until July - and then it will be on a different, and inferior, lake. I would have preferred a weather friendly Spring for my last season here. I am trying not to let this fact affect my attitude. Probably not as well as I should. The new location will be Skiatook Lake in Oklahoma. My pb Table Rock walleye was almost 6 pounds over the lake record. My second best was almost 4 pounds more. My pb Table Rock bass would be the second best for the lake records. The good news is that the lake is a clear water lake with rocky, steep sides (highland reservoir type). This means many of the techniques Table Rock forced me to learn will apply. I am hopeful what I have learned here will help me do well there. magicwormman, nomolites, crazy4fishin and 1 other 4

We are going to miss your reports, not to mention your humor and willingness to help others! That must be a pretty good lake to lure you away from the Rock. Good luck and God bless you in the next chapter of your life! mixermarkb 1

Our beautiful lake can't handle another 6 inches of rain. I would really love to fish with you sometime (preferably when it's not raining).

Randy, you told me how important it is for you guys to move back to family. Good luck and we are better for calling you a friend. Mike mixermarkb 1
