day 2 is in the books.  i got in on the last period.  looks to me as though it was mostly males just now hitting the banks and lots of them.  those bass all looked pretty slick and not beat up.  hard to say what changes they might make with the weather and dropping water.

Record breaking days already! Until they head north and fish smallmouth waters its a tip of the cap to how many fish live in the lake.

I fish a lake in north Missouri and I had to catch 50 this morning.  All males and broke a big one off around a log.  I saw it roll up on the side of the log then...snap.

The numbers are awesome! Quality, not so much! Only 2 four lbers caught by this group and a 1.6 lb average by the total group. It strengthens my theory on how many big fish live in the Rock!

Yep.  Been doing it for years.  Today they  destroyed a baby bass caffeine shad.

I love the way the double fluke rig looks in the water, it gives me alot of confidence......But honestly I haven't had my day with it yet.   And it doesn't "pitch" well, which is something I have to do here around docks.
