Bill Babler Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Ya think Point 1 and the buoy point across from Chateau might get a little more attention now. As he said he fished community holes and there is a reason they are that. They hold fish. merc1997 Bo, magicwormman and Champ188 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Alex Heitman Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I almost stop by point 1 every time I’m down but it has been a lot slower for me the past 2 years
Bill Babler Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 The last couple of years it has been really mossy and held moss into June. As far as the deep trees out there that he was targeting that is a different deal. Man the wind and waves were severe out there and he hung in and caught them off point one. Early he was on the buoy point and I think he said he had 40 lbs off it. At times there are as many as 3 guide boats at a time working it, so he is very fortunate to have had it to himself. Great win and I would have bet money that the dam would not have came into play in this deal. I think it broke the back of everyone else that tried to fish it. big c and magicwormman 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
STLbassbuster Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 I was impressed with Aaron he was rock steady today! Spot lock is worth every penny. 5bites, Sore Thumbs, snagged in outlet 3 and 3 others 6
Quillback Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Yep good win for Martens. Nice to see him win it, but would've been happy if Andy Montgomery has pulled it off. magicwormman and snagged in outlet 3 2
Bgctrading Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I guess this answers the question if drop shot was starting.

crazy4fishin Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I watched as much as I could on my breaks.....😉...... Aaron did a great job.....heck I thought KVD or one of the regulars to the Rock would have won. One thing for sure I learned a boat load on how to fish differently! magicwormman 1 Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker
