Jim, to assume nefarious behavior takes all fun out of it. I'd rather assume I got my a$$ kicked straight up.

It does take all the fun out of it.  The places I've had tournaments on aren't really known for large bass or even having full bags of bass during tournaments.  In fact on the one river one I've done three times I think I've caught 3 fish total, two which barely measured.  And then to see a guy come in with a 16lb bag limit is kind of disheartening and makes you wonder what he was doing different.

I'm sure after a while of fishing tourneys with this Long guy people caught on that they weren't going to win when he was fishing alone.  Whether they put one and one together and figured out what was going on is a different story, but according to the article people finally got what was going on as the team numbers dwindled each year.

Stalking kids, poaching, abusive behavior. Guys a total dirtbag.

Karma finally caught up with him.

BYOB takes the cake! 😂

Finally read the article. The cheating did not surprise me. Anything to please your fans and monetize your YouTube channel. Plus those guys fish in managed big bass lakes. Trout parks for bass mostly. Some a hole will want his name on the Lunker Board and snag one to make it happen again.

Wonder where he has his barrel suspended under the water with the hinged door cut in the side of it to store the fish.

You’ve thought this through pretty good 😄

Watched the video last night. I found it pretty boring actually, but you can clearly see he is out there trying to snag the bass on beds. What a d-bag.

I can't believe what a complete dirt bag this guy is.  I also can't believe how many people suspected or had outright evidence of cheating/lying/overall scumbaggary without saying anything.  Character is rare these days.

Yeah you're right Wrench I don't think he made a lot of money.

I think every bass forum out there has a Mike Long thread running.
