I don't do weekend hunts anymore now that I'm on public ground. marais temps clair has a draw and they plant for birds. But it will be packed for the draw. We've always gotten limits if we got to hunt. I love a good dove shoot!! For years I got to go a "fund raiser" shoot for a senator. And when I say shoot, I mean SHOOT! It was up near West Alton right in the bottle neck of the rivers. They would brush hog fields of sunflowers and they put in water puddles. $75 included breakfast, lunch, ladies to clean your birds and of course open bar after you got your limit.
