I haven't joined the debate because I learned a while ago he won't admit when he speaks out of ignorance, won't admit when he is wrong and is hypocritical.

Saying that I don't believe something because it makes no sense and everything keeps proving itself differently is just skepticism.   Like I told Mopanfisher, I don't disbelieve things I hear or read unless what I am hearing and reading just doesn't add up.   At that point I take what I know to be facts and fill in the gaps with what makes the most sense.

If what you and Sius' are saying is true then LO would be a better quality (or at least equal) Striper fishery than Bull Shoals, Norfork, ect., and that clearly isn't so.

At the rate of activity y'all are claiming that MDC is devoting to the LO Stripers, is it stupid to wonder why they don't even mention Stripers when speaking about or "studying" the LO fishery ?   They openly crow about everything else they do, no matter how lacidasical, so why the lack of mention when it comes to THAT ?

As far as I'm concerned....Catch rates and common sense tell a more accurate story.

Example:   I have some notes here that say I did a considerable amount of work for you over the last couple years.   SO WHEN ARE YOU GONNA PAY ME ?    🤔

And don't try to claim that you never noticed the work that had been done. Cuz we ain't putting up with that kind of ignorance. 😊

Like I said, the fish have different growth rates at different lakes. Bull shoals is a completely different water system with different forage which is why they are growing faster. THAT is why it is better than LoZ. Also,  other than one specific area during a specific time, hardly any are caught at bull shoals every year.

You have never worked on any of my equipment so I assume you weren't talking to me.

Also, the 150,000 stocking mentioned earlier in the thread were fry, which is totally different situation to how they are stocking bull shoals.

Trying to compare bull shoals to LOZ is like comparing a trout hatchery to a lake. They are two completely different situations.

Do you happen to know how many are being stocked per year in bull shoals?  I think i read somewhere around 25,000 every other year?

It is around 16,000 every other year.  Half at k dock and half at Theodosia.

I enjoy this thread.  Maybe, no one is incorrect, and there is a problem with the lake, or habitat.  Discussions like this are what get things moving.  I appreciate the input from everyone.  I "learned" a few things.

Maybe you are just a sh!tty striper fisherman.  Just because you can't catch them doesn't mean they are not there.

I have no idea what the example means.  I've never had you work on my equipment and would never take my equipment to you.  I can turn a wrench to fix it when needed and fixing my old johnyyrude is not rocket science.

Who said anything about working on your equipment ?

This whole pissing match is about claiming that something has been done.... that clearly hasn't been done.   Not to anybody's satisfaction anyway.

I can catch Stripers when there are Stripers to be caught.  I catch some here, quite a few actually, I've posted pics.  But they didn't get to my neighborhood from Wigwam or Roach.   That's all I've been saying.   If they have been working towards maintaining a striper fishery on LO for over 25 years then it's time to piss on the fire and call the dogs because they are failing miserably.   My claims that they are not actually gives them more credit.
