Rigging Finesse plastics

What’s your favorite method of rigging plastics and why? 

I’m constantly torn between these 2 methods...

they both have their pros and cons.

I don’t really have a favorite.  I use TX, TX skin, open hook/ w weedguard, and open hook/ wo weedguard depending on cover and bottom.

I normally use an EWG hook and Texpose, but I have noticed several pros going to the straight shanked hook with keeper.

This is my only quiet time! I have kids ya know 😂

Like @timinmo I use EWG hooks. I do tuck the the hook tip into the plastic.

I'm also a tucker. And have been called something else that rhymes with that.

I use the EWG for C-rigs and T-rigs, but lately I have been using screw locks a lot to try and avoid the plastic pulled down to the hook bend situation on a bite.  I do rig as shown in pic #1 on finesse worms.

For me depends on the thickness of the plastic.  The thicker bulky finesse baits I texspose. Like tubes for ex.

The last time out I nose hooked one with a Gami finesse wide gap weed less #2.  Killer jig action.

Some shakey heads and such don't have the right angle for texposing.  If they don't then I rip the plastic (so the hook point can easily come out) and bury it.
