aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Found an old harddrive in my attic and it had all my brothers old diving videos on it. Keep in mind this is in 2006 on a old waterproof camera. Quality is pretty poor, but this is definitely in Table Rock. The size of the Jelly was about as big as a half dollar. Ive never seen one diving but my dad said he has seen plenty back in the 80's when he used to dive a lot. I had to upload it to YouTube because of the file type Johnsfolly and snagged in outlet 3 2
Quillback Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Didn't know they were in the lake. Pretty neat.

My daughter had her apple watch come off when she jumped from the diving bluff on Labor Day weekend. I figure it's in about 95' of water. Would you be able to see that if you were diving? I'm not asking you to get it just wondering because I think you said its nearly pitch black that deep.
mojorig Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 We occasionally receive reports of freshwater jellyfish in Bull Shoals Lake. Find more information about them at this link (click here). *T* Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Have seen these numerous times when fishing the bridge abutments at Kimberling City, and there were many, but not recently. "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Quillback Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Reading the link above it say that they reproduce sporadically which may explain why some years they are around and other years not.

Probably would need a light that deep. Ive only been down to 70' in the lakes and you could still see but it does get dark. Not much to see that deep in the lakes. snagged in outlet 3 1
Bushbeater Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 I recall seeing them years back in the St. Francis river drainage. I've not seen any in several years.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 My brother and i kinda took a break from diving the last 4 years since we bot had kids. But next summer we plan on getting back to it, he already got a dive boat and i got a new camera. Hope to have some good footage next summer.. I think a lot of bass guys would like to see how bass set up in brush piles, and i think it would be fun to get some videos of different lures underwater snagged in outlet 3, big c, abkeenan and 3 others 6
