Did I ever tell you the story about how I sent my BIL a sample Christmas Card with no postage and his address for the return address?  Works perfect.

Well hell, if I thought I could get him to pay for it I wouldn’t have put 20 forever stamps on and wondered it it would get there.

I clearly need to bone up on the intricacies of postage use.
