Rootman Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Just trying to get some information as to what the lake is like. Did the rains muddy it up? Thinking of trying my luck tomorrow, but not sure what water is like. Any information appreciated. Thx
Dutch Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Little Sac is fine. Main lake moss. Price’s branch no moss. Rootman and liphunter 2
MOPanfisher Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 Dang, I hate that green slime, but I do catch some wallys when it is there I guess.
Members bassnut Posted March 1, 2020 Members Posted March 1, 2020 Was up the big sac today and up toward Greenfield ramp water was discolored. From twin bridge up 2 or 3 miles water was pretty clear. Temps early this morning was 39 but found 49 up big Sac this afternoon. Fishing was really tough for bass, only had 4 keepers. liphunter and Rootman 2
curtisce Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Anyone know about the water color around Greenfield after our last rain? The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
waterpossum Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 I was there Tuesday and it was dirty, but fishable. Take a number and head up the river for white bass. curtisce and trythisonemv 2

Caught the first fishoff a main lake point,26" wallleye, next point caught 2 whites and then a few bass. Then it was over. fished for another 2 hours without a bite. Quit around 4:30. Old dog 417 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 curtisce, That's a fine walleye...Congrats! Thanks for your report and including the water temp. od
Smithvillesteve Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Those walleyes are so good to eat. But i tip my hat to you for releasing a 26 incher!! I realize the debate is out there if walleye spawn or not in Stockton. If they do you did the right thing in my humble opinion.
MrGiggles Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Main lake from Hartley to the dam, remarkably clear, 42-43*. Found a few crappie deep on brush but that was it. Tried for walleyes for a little while with no luck, seems like half the county was too. Lot of boats for a week day. Old dog 417 and Rootman 2 -Austin
