Covid Camping

The campground is open.  Everybody knows the covid can't live in the fresh air and sunshine.  Even the dog is social distancing.

I went camping this past weekend. Not a soul around other than my family. it was amazing.

What a great camping trip.  Very little driving to get to the campground.  Had a lovely campfire and happy hour yesterday evening.  Slept very well on comfortable mattress,, nice and cool but with plenty of blankets and shared bodily warmth.  Woke up to the sound of a turkey gobbling about 50 yards away.  And then a crow in the tree right above us.  Totally awesome time.

We were fortunate enough to find a campsite with its own private hot tub.  Coffee in the hot tub this morning, and then a delicious breakfast in the main lodge.  Fresh red grapes, scrambled eggs with brie and tender crisp asparagus, crispy bacon and homemade sourdough toast with butter and grape jelly.  The people who run this place seem nice and their dogs are very friendly.  We like it here so much we may never leave.

That's not a dog, that's a unit!  Sounds like a great time.

Ok serious question.  What do you guys do for bathrooms for the ladies at night?  My wife is done walking to a shower house in the middle of the night.

Last night she went in the yard.  We value our privacy.  You do know we're camping in the back yard, right?

The cows never even had a clue.  We're doing it again tonight.  It's a nice staycation.

That's an ideal I think we should explore. Weekend is supposed to be nice. We live in the country anyway. Just no water😒, and no people.

You can bring water.  The no people part is what's most important to us.

Whiskey is a good girl.  Very well behaved for a heeler.
