and just why is it that those people in the meat packing plants are all sick??  i can tell, but it would just start a war on here, and i will leave it at that.

I do not know about processing plants in other places. Based upon living within 30 miles of two Tyson and one Georges plant, the people who work the line are not well off financially and include a high percentage of Latinos and Marshal Islanders. At other plants it may be a different ethnicity, but I am willing to bet the demographics are similar.

The above means a high percentage of show up even if ill workers. The above means larger, more tightly packed, friends and families. The above means lower testing rates when ill. All of these factors contribute to rapid spread in specific groups.

From the videos I've seen of the production lines, the workers are masked up, wearing some kind of coverall outer garment along with gloves.  I'd speculate that wherever they are picking up the virus it is not in the plant unless it is in a dressing room or some place where people are gathered together.

Time shall tell but I know personally I am hanging onto about 18 calves I should have sold in the last 2 months. Market is down and so I'm hoping with the grass growing something breaks loose soon so I don't end up taking a bigger hit burning through pasture for calves that will likely sell poorly anyways. 

 

I'm certain I'm not the only person doing that either. 

Today its the processing/packers...tomorrow its the feedlots.....next week its the producers.

Sorry but in my opinion the Chicago Sun/Times and pretty much every newspaper in the country is about as far from "reality" as it gets.

You gotta look hard and do your research to find dissenting views on anything now days.

Becoming harder and harder to be an independent and free thinker and not just follow the propaganda.

Youtube keeps taking this interview down but it can still be found and when available I would offer it to those looking for an alternate perspective.

Not saying it's true or false I just think it's important to consider dissenting viewpoints and then draw your own conclusions.

I believe the future depends on it but that's just me.
