B-2 Stealth Bomber Flyovers

That’s a good point...a guy I used to work with (gale).  His son flew f16’s and was temporarily stationed in knob knoster back in the 2000s.

I remember gale was real excited one day and said his son was gonna do a flyover at 1015.  A bunch of us went outside to watch...they were right on time and gone in a flash.  It was cool.

Gale was so proud of his son.  we had all heard about his son and admired gale so it was really cool

Regardless of how anyone feels about our military overall, there's a justifiable sense of pride in doing well in that arena.  Flying jets - especially fighter jets - is reserved for smart fit guys.  Who wouldn't be proud of someone who did that.

I carried a rifle, a radio and mortar parts and pieces.  They wouldn't let me actually talk on the radio or aim the mortar.  Draw your own conclusions about what they thought about my potential.😎

I grew up near Richard gebauer AF base...the A10s would fly over all the time...going slow and seemed like they were only a 100 yards in the air.

I actually got to fly the flight simulator on base when I was about 14.  A friend and me...his dad got us in somehow.  I remember we went out on a bombing mission.  The machine gyrated and the seat had air bags in it to simulate the movement.  I remember I made it out...bombed the target...and I landed but I forgot to pull the brakes...and I crashed off the end of the runway.    My buddy crashed or got shot down...I can’t remember.  They gave us a printout of our mission...and how we did...stats and such

it was pretty cool...would have been 82 or so probably...the Air Force guy called it a million dollar video game

Watched the fly over in Camdenton about 4:15 or so. This is the third time I have got to witness the B2 in flight. The first was a few years back at the  week long veteran celebration at Branson. I was fishing and it flew upstream of taneycomo and made a hard bank north as it flew over the dam. Quite a sight to behold. Hope you all get to view it as it flies today.

Flew right over the house as I was getting home from work.  Nice big ole black plane.  The noise is alot quieter than the B52.  But I heard it coming and rushed to a clearing to see it pass over.

F 18 was flying around overhead the other day when I was out in the yard.  Don't know what it was up to, but fun to watch.  And the roar of the jets, or growl, its kind of a deep growl.  Gets your attention.

My brother is in the Air Force, works on A10s.

They had a little meet and greet sort of deal a couple years ago at Whiteman. Got to watch a trio of B2s do touch and gos for a half hour. Pretty neat watching them. They're gigantic up close, a lot bigger than I imagined.

I see A10s flying over pretty regularly. Sometimes really low, heading to Whiteman I assume. Got one on camera a few months ago.
