so I come back into the land of living and hear about CHAZ or Capital Hill Autonomous Zone. What the heck is going on up there? Someone give me the real scoop!

Antifa has taken over downtown Seattle and the mayor and governor are doing nothing.  Sitting back waiting until the big bad Trump restores order and then will blame it all on him.  You really should go back to where you were.

This CHAZ situation is both humorous and dangerous. I only know what has been presented by the media so I will plead ignorance if I am stating mistruths. The humor is that these folks lack resources like food and are calling on those people that they have separated from to supply their needs. They seem to lack some understanding on how an autonomous nation would need in order to survive like food, power, water for example. They seem to be calling for Seattle to disband the police force and court systems while they have an armed force of "police" protecting their borders. The mayor looks at this as a "festival" and no harm is being done.. Except that they have taken over other peoples property and are taking power and water from those people that pay for those utilities.. Biggest concern to me is precedent with other groups may be looking to do the same elsewhere.

they are domestic terrorists, plain and simple, and should be dealt with accordingly.  Next up Atlanta.  A bad guy steals a taser from a LEO, gets shot. What if bad guy shot LEO with taser, took his gun and shot the LEO?  It is truly getting to be a very bad situation.  LEO's have a thankless job in a liberal atmosphere.  I read where a SWAT team quit in Florida.  Really can't blame them.  Sad situation.

The mayor is obviously a nut case

Looks like the majority of truckers are now refusing to deliver to cities that are defunding police departments. I agree with them, I’d do the same.

Is it CHAZ or CHOP?

In the six blocks seized by Seattle protesters, there was plenty of confusion this weekend as some seek to change the name of the self-proclaimed Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone to Capitol Hill Organized (or Occupied) Protest.

“This is not an autonomous zone. We are not trying to secede from the United States,” one protester, Maurice Cola, said Saturday afternoon in a video interview circulating on Twitter.

Some sidewalks showed chalk lettering featuring the new CHOP branding.

I want someone there to call a farm store and have a load of rolled oats, shelled corn, maybe a few hundred pounds of soybeans and a couple of mineral lick tubs delivered, here ya go, enjoy.

What cities are actually doing it ?

Truckers making decisions about where they will and won't deliver to sounds like a good way for some truckers to loose their jobs.

I see no problem with occasionally putting the lawdogs in check every once in awhile.  Might help keep a nice balance.

Not likely.  The shortage or trucks is very high.  Go ahead and try to book a legal load for advertised rates and see what you actually book them for.  I have over 30 loads leaving this week alone.
