Bill Babler Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Gills and I mean big ones totally drove us crazy on a drop shot this morning using a Yamamoto shad shape worm. Kept pulling it down but we did manage to land a couple of just flat out dandies. There were a bunch of them at 32ft. and lots more in the 24ft. range at Shell Knob on gravel. top_dollar and rps 1 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
rps Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 My walleye mentor taught me that bluegills were not a pest. They meant the walleye are near.

Sorry about that the kids will have a great time playing with the crickets and fishing with them I'm sorry it came across that way. It was not my intention. Also, sorry for my delay. I've not been able to get online much in the last week. snagged in outlet 3 1

Bill Babler Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Palm size Gill Phil Stone put his clients on some big blue gills today. Said they are just stacked on inside secondary pole timbered points in 22' to 28' of water. Caught them on 1/2 nite crawler on a drop shot. Those things are Stickery I'd use a boga too. Love the hats. Phil said he stopped counting at 50 and they kept throwing them in. He won't clean them, but he will put you on them. Great trip for that family. ness, Dock-in-it, snagged in outlet 3 and 2 others 5 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 That is a mess of gills. Love eating them but hate cleaning them. Hunter91 1
